Neutral Smokey Eye Look with Orange Eyeshadow
Get this beautiful neutral smokey eye look by using an orange eyeshadow palette. This tutorial shows you how to create the perfect warm-toned smokey eye! Get out your make-up bag and get to work…
Step 1
Apply make-up to the face, with just foundation on the lid and then foundation and setting powder from the crease to your eyebrow.
Step 2
Apply Urban Decay Original Primer Potion all over the lid.
Step 3
Take Bones from the Urban Decay Vice4 palette and apply on the brow bone and in the inner corner of the eye.
Step 4
Sticking with the Vice4 palette, use Delete for the outer corner of the eye.
Step 5
Apply Flame to the centre of the lid, blending it into Delete and Bones.
Step 6
Using Bitter as a transition shade, apply it in the crease and up towards the brow bone, helping get rid of any harsh lines.
Step 7
Take Delete once again and apply directly in the crease to help define and contour the eye.
Step 8
Go back in with Flame in the centre of the lid, just to brighten the eye once again.
Step 9
Using the Precision Gel Liner, take an angled liner brush and apply along the upper lashline, bringing it out slightly to create a wing.
Step 10
Next up, take Bitter and apply it to the outer corner of your lower lash line.
Step 11
Apply Flame to the inner corner of your lower lash line, blending it into Bitter.
Step 12
Apply mascara to both your top and bottom lashes. I used No7’s Exceptional Definition Mascara in Black for this look.
Step 13
Lastly, take a volumizing mascara like Soap & Glory’s Thick & Fast and just apply it to your upper lashes.
So there you have it! A fantastic neutral smokey eye look using an orange eyeshadow set creating this easy and natural warm eye.
